We’ve featured some of astronaut Chris Hadfield’s previous mundane tasks in space and it’s crazy how interesting they are. Him wringing out a washcloth is no exception.
I can definitely see myself clipping my nails or eating a PB&J like the other videos linked above. But this washcloth with water sticking to your hand like we’re in the movie The Blob? That’s my line, man. I was perfectly qualified to be an astronaut up until that very moment. Assuming we’re ignoring requirements on science knowledge, physical skills, or the ability to stay in one of those carnival rides where you stick to the wall to simulate a lack of gravity, of course.
