Matt Garza Throws the Fifth No-Hitter this Season

We thought it was going to be a slow sports night. We were wrong. Turns out Matt Garza just threw the first no-hitter in in Tampa Bay Rays history and the fifth no-no this season. He faced 27 batters. Garza’s only misstep occurred in the second inning when he walked Brennan Boesch. The last time there were five no-hitters in a season was 1991.
