TIME Magazine Named The ’50 Best Places To Live’ (In America) And You’ve Never Heard Of Any Of Them

by 3 years ago

These rankings are something TIME Magazine puts out every year, so I don’t know why I’m so surprised, but it’s still blowing my mind that such a massive publication can release ’50 Best Places To Live In 2015′ (in America) and I’ve only heard of like 5 of them, maybe. Sorry West Linn, Oregon but most people from Oregon haven’t even heard of you before. And the same goes for you Doctor Phillips, Florida (one of the 5 on this list I’ve actually heard of), because most Floridians try to avoid Orlando like the plague, and you should just call yourself Orlando because that’s what you are.

I’m actually pretty knowledgeable when it comes to geography, and I’ve been to nearly every state in the U.S., so it’s baffling to me that TIME can release a list of the ’50 best places to live in America’ and somehow all 50 of them are places nobody lives in…

Here’s the list, the list that looks like TIME went out of their way to find places where nobody lives. After staring at this for a while I’m actually impressed, because it must have been difficult for them to find 50 cities in the U.S. that nobody anywhere has ever heard of.

TIME did release a separate list of ‘The 5 Best Big Cities‘, because if you’re going to rank cities you might as well stop at 5…right?
