Well, here we go: Game 1 of the World Series. First pitch is at 7:57 p.m. FOX’s coverage begins at 7:30 and will include Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden taking part in pre-game festivities (a soldier will probably throw out the first pitch). Just a reminder that we’ll be Live Tweeting the whole game, so make sure you’re following along there. Most of the NBA also tips off the new season tonight, so check your local listings. Also, the new season of “Friday Night Lights” debuts on DirectTV at 9 p.m., if you’ve got that hookup going on.
