Rescue Begins of 33 Chilean Miners Trapped Underground for 69 Days
11:21 p.m.: First person Avalos hugged was his young son; second was his wife. How much sex are they having tonight, by the way?
11:24 p.m.: By the time you wake up tomorrow morning, not even half of the miners will have been rescued. In total it will take at least 24 hours to rescue all 33 miners, plus four rescue engineers.
11:26 p.m.: Seems to be a delay in getting the rescue capsule back into the ground…
12:14 a.m.: Amazing moment as the second miner rescued from the mine, Mario Sepulveda, goes absolutely nuts when he reaches the surfaced. He hugged his wife, then reached down into his bag and pulled out rocks from down below that he handed out to his rescuers. Then he gave a big hug to the Chilean president. Then he ran over to a big crowd of more rescuers behind a fence and basically did a Lambeau Leap and started a big chant. We'll post the video as soon as it's up on YouTube, but here are the screenshots. By the way, the commentators have been saying that this guy was basically the spokesperson for the guys in the cave and was a big personality. This guy is going to be a national hero and international star.
