Why Is Taylor Swift Is Snatching Up Porn Sites Like They’re Going Out Of Style?

by 4 years ago

TaylorSwift.porn, TaylorSwift.adult and TaylorSwift.sucks are just some of the websites that will be available when the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) begins selling new generic top-level domains. Instead of gTLDs such as “.com” and “.net,” ICANN will make “.porn,” “.adult” and “.sucks” available on June 1.

Taylor Swift has an extremely litigious team on her side to protect her image and has gone to such great lengths as to trademark sayings “Party Like It’s 1989,” “This Sick Beat,” “Cause We Never Go Out of Style,” “Could Show You Incredible Things” and “Nice to Meet You, Where You Been?” Swift’s management have already purchased the controversial TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult domains in advance before unscrupulous web trolls could get their hands on the sites. ICANN has allowed public figures and companies access to register the sites before they are available to the general public.

How bad does Kanye want to buy KanyeWest.porn and caress his ego to it?

It’s not only Swift who has taken advantage of this early purchase option, Microsoft Office has also registered Office.porn and Office.adult. Don’t worry for Swift and Microsoft though, I think they can afford the domains which cost up to $2,500 to register.

While sexy Taylor Swift URLs are gone, you can still purchase MamaJune.porn. Yup. Still available. Hard to believe I know.
