Ted Cruz Recreates Iconic ‘Hoosiers’ Scene In Indiana, Goes To Complete Dogshit When He Calls Basketball Hoop A ‘Ring’

by 2 years ago

Ted Cruz did not have a banner day on Tuesday. Donald Trump sweep all five state primaries on Tuesday in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island to bolster his commanding lead over Cruz by the delegate count of 950 for Trump and 560 for Ted. Tuesday night’s big win for Trump prompted him to boast, “I consider myself the presumptive nominee. Absolutely.” As if things couldn’t get any worse, Cruz made an unthinkable basketball gaffe on one of the most sacred basketball courts in the world.

Cruz tried to score points with voters in Indiana by re-creating a classic Hoosiers scene. Everything was going as planned with his measuring of the basketball hoop and then it happened.

The Republican presidential hopeful called the basketball rim a “basketball ring.”

And he did this on the holy gym in Knightsown, Indiana where the timeless movie Hoosiers was filmed.

“The amazing thing is, that basketball ring in Indiana, it’s the same height as it is New York City and every other place in this country.”

I’ve never heard anyone in my entire life call it a “basketball ring.”
