Teen Dancing In Hospital After Successful Heart Transplant Makes You Appreciate Everything You Take For Granted
I’ll be the first to admit that I take just about everything for granted. My problems mostly consist of First World nonsense like having to wipe my ass with tissues because no one replenished the toilet paper in our guest bathroom. That is peak hardship in my house. Sure, life occasionally throws us a curveball with a minor health issue or whatever, but nothing like what Maryland teen Amari Hall has had to endure. And it isn’t until I see something like Hall dancing in his hospital bed six days after receiving a successful heart transplant that I sit back and appreciate all the things I don’t have to worry about.
Hall has been dealing with this issue for his entire 15 years on earth. He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a congenital heart defect that negatively affects blood flow through the heart. This condition caused him to have three corrective heart surgeries before the age of two. By the time he was 15, his heart started to fail and he needed this transplant to save his life. Let’s hope it not only saved his life, but it will allow him to live a long life as well.
