Holy yes. You’re telling me that two teams ranked in the top ten nationally, tied for first in conference play, and playing out of their minds are playing each other this Saturday? If you tell me that you have anywhere better to be at 4 pm on the 18th, I’d call you a bold-faced liar. I am currently counting down the seconds until this game happens. Who do I think will win, you ask? Honestly, whichever team plays best that day, probably. I guess if that answer doesn’t satisfy you, I’ll pick the Jayhawks, but who knows?

The Baylor Bears have been electric this season. They’ve only lost six games total, and they look like they have no intention of slowing down anytime soon. This is usually the part in the blog where I highlight a certain player, but there are honestly too many good players to choose from on this Baylor team. Jalen Bridges is leading the team in rebounds and blocks, locking the paint down. Keyonte George is a certified bucket averaging 16.5 points per game. And Adam Flagler is dishing the ball around like he’s scared of holding on to it for too long. They’re all great players that play incredibly well together, which I guess would be why they are ninth in the nation.

However, the Jayhawks are also pretty ridiculous. They are 21 and 5 this season and sit fifth in the nation for starters. I am so glad that Kansas is still a good basketball program this year. With both UNC and Duke in a down season, I was worried that all the teams that I grew up on being great were fading. But the Jayhawks are as good as ever. Kansas’ starting forward Jalen Wilson has been unbelievable this season, averaging 20.3 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. His pairing with guard Dajuan Harris Jr has been just ridiculous. Dajuan has been perfect at feeding Jalen the ball and letting him cook, which has given him 6.1 assists per game. That average has him at seventh in the country in that category. Which feels pretty good to me, but I guess I can let you decide for yourself.

These are two powerhouse teams, and choosing a winner between the two of them is an impossible task. I guess give me the team with Jalen Wilson, but anything can happen. Take Kansas and get $150 in bonus bets if you pick the winner with DraftKings.
