I am completely unsurprised that this Nuggets team took a game from the Heat in Miami. When you are playing against the Joker there is only so much you can try to do to stop him from winning. He is quite literally making history as these Finals continue on, so in some games, the Heat are just going to have to tip their caps. I will say that the supporting cast of the Miami Heat has seemed to shrink into itself. These are not the same players that rolled through the Eastern Conference. What do you guys think, Heat set up a pivotal game five in Denver?

The Miami Heat are finally getting production out of Bam Adebayo, not just production but consistent production. This was the missing piece Miami was waiting for! They finally got it and…the rest of the team forgets to play? That’s odd. Gabe Vincent has gone from one of Miami’s most reliable scorers to scoring 7 points in the Heat’s first game at home in the Finals. Speaking of unreliable, Max Strus seems to have gone home with his old team the Boston Celtics because he has been nothing but inconsistent so far in the Finals. And as a Boston Celtics fan don’t even get me started on Caleb Martin because he sent the Celtics packing in several of the seven Eastern Conference Finals games, but has also shriveled up offensively. The good news for the Heat though is that even though almost everyone but Bam and Jimmy have forgotten how to score they are still only lost by 15.

Are…are Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray the next Kobe and Shaq? Am I being blasphemous by even typing that out as a question? Maybe, but my word did they put on a show in Miami. First things first, for those of you who still think that Embiid deserved this year’s MVP, you might need to reevaluate how much you know about basketball. Unless you live in Philly at this point you must understand that Nikola Jokic is potentially one of the best big men ever. In game three the Joker had 32 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists. He is quite literally a one-man offense. If you surrounded him with the three-point shooters on the Miami Heat I can only imagine the numbers that Duncan Robinson would have put up. However, the Nuggets did him even better by getting him, Jamal Murray. I don’t know what is motivating Jamal (besides the obvious that we all saw leaked on the internet) but whatever it is I hope for the Nugget’s sake that he doesn’t lose it. In game three he posted 34 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds. When you have a guard and a big man with the capabilities of getting triple-doubles in any game, chances are you’ll win most games.

This is the exact same deficit that Miami found themselves in after game one, so this series is still anyone’s.

It ain’t a series until someone wins a game on the road, so looks like we’ve got a series. Bet on either team’s moneyline & enjoy that $200 offer from DraftKings.
