Whoa baby, let the disrespect flow!

The Giants are on a three-game win streak. The team sits at 5-1 and just won a legit contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Saquon Barkley is back to looking like… Saquon Barkley. He leads the NFL in scrimmage yards this year, if you did not know. Daniel Jones doesn’t suck anymore. Brian Daboll is coaching a receiver room nearly devoid of talent to get open enough times to score.

The defense is … somewhere between actually good and doing just good enough.

It is fair to concede that the team has not exactly gotten to 5-1 impressively. A one-point theft against Tennessee, barely beating Carolina, and lulling Chicago to sleep does not inspire confidence. Winning in Green Bay does. As does coming back with 14-unanswered points in bettering the Ravens.

Fun fact, all five wins have been comebacks.

Jacksonville was the NFL darling after beating San Diego and blanking Indy. It did not fool us the last time I wrote about the Jags. Since that writing, the Jags also lost to the… TEXANS… and reversed that shutout against Indy with a 34-27 loss.

The Giants opened as 2.5-point dogs in this game. So, Vegas thinks this is a true line pick’em. Good for you.

Usually I would advise “too good to be true” lines make me nervous. I would also usually say that there is normalization of data with these teams being on three-game streaks in opposite ways that it should steady itself out.

I am not on that at all. The Giants are the pick here. Jacksonville is not a difficult road environment. There is not a trap game setting up with another road game to Seattle on the schedule. The team believes. And it will be ready because this coaching staff is a quality group.

Add in the dog disrespect and take the moneyline to get $200 back (plus your winnings) when the G-MEN win!
