Starting this season the NFL will be relaxing their rules on touchdown celebrations. They’re allowing ‘team celebrations’, meaning multiple players can celebrate together. In the past, this type of celebration would’ve led to an immediate penalty.
Other celebration additions this season include the player’s ability to use the football as a prop, making snow angels, and falling to the ground. Twerking is still outlawed, but the NFL players have a lot more leeway this season when it comes to celebrations.
For last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy was able to get a bunch of players together to showcase what their touchdown dance will be for the 2017/2018 NFL season. I’m partial to Vernon Davis’ dance titled ‘The Steph Curry’, but Russell Wilson, Antonio Brown, Michael Bennett, Randall Cobb, Von Miller, Vernon Davis, Travis Kelce, and T.Y. Hilton are all on hand to showcase their new touchdown celebrations.
