DeMarco Murray Had a Crazy Run and Rob Ryan Yelled ‘F*ck Yeah!’ Last Night
First off we've got to talk about that DeMarco Murray run. The running back, who's poised to have a breakout season, rushed for 131 yards on only 20 carries last night, with the bulk of that yardage coming on a 48-yard run that looked dead in the backfield from the start. Murray broke several tackles, though, and probably could have broken for a touchdown too if he hadn't inexplicably turned inside on the long sideline run. Watch video above and a GIF from SB Nation below:
Dez Bryant had what can only be described as an… interesting night. The wide-receiver, who arrived at the stadium with his baby-sitters in tow, tried to fake out the replacement refs in the second quarter by running 60 yards to the end zone after he was very clearly down at the 40. He did not succeed in this.
Later in the game, Bryant pulled off a great defensive play for the Giants, tackling DeMarco Murray in the open field. New York was grateful for his help.
(To add insult to injury, Bryant was overshadowed in the game by Kevin Ogletree, who caught eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns. If you haven't picked Ogletree up off waivors in your fantasy league yet, you might want to do so now.)
About those replacement refs—the guys just don't know when to get out of the way! Here's Hakeem Nicks nearly breaking a poor dude's hip (H/T: @bubbaprog):
Finally, we'd be remiss to not include the GIF that got all you guys to click on this post. Rob Ryan was fired up after the Cowboys' D held the Giants to a field goal on a clutch goal line stand, and he celebrated this achievement in a very Ryan family way (again, H/T: @bubbaprog).
Never change, Rob.
