Kendrick Perkins was finally able to confront Quavo after the rapper dissed him in a song years ago.

For years, Perkins has been angry about Quavo’s lyric “get no playin’ time, Kendrick Perkins” from the rapper’s 2018 song “Fuck 12” off of the Quavo Huncho solo album.

“He tried to like diss me, he tried to say something like, he was talking about getting a girl’s number, and he was like, ‘no playing time, Kendrick Perkins.’ So I was like uh, no… and you need to stick to staying with the Migos and not going solo. I kinda wanted to fire back because his album flopped anyway, I mean it was trash but I was just like why are these little dudes coming after me? Like, first of all, what is your problem?

As Migos started to promote their Culture III album that is set to release on June 11th, Perkins fired another shot Quavo’s way.

Perkins’ tweet led to a back and forth on social media between the rapper and the former NBA player turned ESPN commentator.

On Thursday morning Quavo made an appearance on ESPN’s”First Take” to promote the upcoming Migos album and things got a bit awkward when Perkins straight up confronted the rapper about the lyric on live TV. During the segment, a serious Perkins addresses Quavo as the rapper could be seen in the background laughing awkwardly.

“Where I’m from in Beaumont, Texas, in the country we don’t care about names, we don’t care about none of that, you shoot somethinng my way I’m going to address you like the numbers on your house.

Now let me address you with your comments talking about getting no playing Kenrick Perkins. Ok at the time I wasn’t, I was the 14th, 15th man on the bench, in my 13th year. But when I was putting in work you probably still had similac on your breath when I was helping the Celtics go to the finals.”

Eventually, Quavo tried to squash the beef with Perk by saying it was “just a bar” and that he had no bad blood with the former NBA player.
