WNBA Player Lexi Brown Battles Former Men’s DII College Player In 1-On-1: Who Ya Got?
The majority of you reading this truly believe that you are capable of beating a WNBA player in a game to 11. No shame in it, us men are prideful creatures, incapable of compromising our innate sense of physical responsibility. It wasn’t long ago that men were chopping down trees and shit just to keep the family warm, so our sense of athletic superiority is as embedded as it can be delusional.
A man found that out the hard way after battling Minnesota Lynx guard Lexie Brown in a game of one-on-one.
The Hoop State Network’s new series She Nice! features female basketball players competing against dudes who talk smack online.
Brown, who is the daughter of former Celtics guard and Dunk Contest champion Dee Brown, played at Maryland and Duke before being selected by the Connecticut Sun with the ninth overall pick of the 2018 draft.
The 24-year-old squared off against former Division II player Darius Moore.
The rules of the game are simple: Game to 7 straight up, ones only, four dribble limit per possession. Brown used a WNBA ball while Moore used a men’s basketball during his possessions.
Brown predicted she’d win 7-0, but Moore jumped out to a 3-0 lead and gave her a good fight. Brown poured in two straight points at the end to win 7-6.
Brown hopped on Twitter after to tell the trolls and haters to chill out.
It’s not that deep? IT IS TO ME!!!
