by 6 years ago

As the YES Network’s Yankees clubhouse reporter, Meredith's pretty face will appear on the pre-game “Yankees Batting Practice Today” show, during the actual games, and in the post-game show. Marakovits is a graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, where she played volleyball and graduated in 2005 with a degree in communications. Since then she has covered the Phillies' triple-A team, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Marakovits has appeared regularly on New York radio stations ESPN 1050 and WFAN, plus you may have seen her on SNY programs such as “The Wheelhouse,” “Daily News Live,” and “GEICO Sportsnite.”

“I am excited about covering arguably the greatest franchise in sports, the New York Yankees, with its rich history and its continued commitment to excellence,” said Marakovits.  “I am very familiar with the Yankees, having covered them on both TV and radio.  I am also eager to join the YES team and work alongside some of the best talent in the business.”

Congratulations on your new gig Meredith, and we look forward to ogling you during Yankees games.
