Tuesday’s record: 1-2

Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics

After back-to-back losses, the Houston Rockets have five consecutive wins, including covering the spread in four of them. The Boston Celtics return home after a four-game road trip; in those games, they went 3-1 straight up and covered the spread in all four including when five-point underdogs in a win against the Jazz.

Houston has been good in bettings trends; it’s 7-2 against the spread in its last nine games on the road facing teams with winning records.

The Celtics are playing well at home lately as they are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven home games.

Boston point guard Kemba Walker will miss another game and that gives Houston a big advantage. Despite the critics questioning the Rockets making moves to go small ball, it has worked out and they’ll be able to pull out the road victory.

Houston Rockets -1.5

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Lakers are showing why they are the best team in the West; they have won seven consecutive games, including covering the spread in five of them.

The Grizzles return home after a winless four-game road trip and have lost a total of six of their last eight. Despite that, they still hold onto the last playoff spot in the Western Conference, a three-game lead over the Trail Blazers and Pelicans.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Danny Green are all listed as questionable for this game. With that, the Lakers are still a far better team, but if all three do not end up playing, this could be a close game.

Memphis Grizzles +6

Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns

The Golden State Warriors are in a lost year, a year removed from the NBA Finals, they have the worse record in the league. Currently, they’ve lost 13 of their last 15 games, including eight straight. There’s a bright spot as the team might get Steph Curry back as he could return today from the shoulder injury he suffered earlier this year.

The Phoenix Suns are also struggling as they come into this game with two straight losses.

These two teams have met three times so far this season with the Suns winning two of those games. The Warriors have shot 44% from the field or worse in eight straight and even if Curry returns, it could take him some him time to get back into rhythm.

Phoenix Suns -8.5
