This Insane One-Handed Catch By New Mexico State’s Jaleel Scott Will Make You Giddy College Football’s Back

by 2 years ago

Before we could even cut the umbilical cord off the 2017 college football season, New Mexico State wide receiver Jaleel Scott secured himself a spot in the season-long highlight reel with an incredible 1-yard touchdown catch against Arizona State.

New Mexico State fell to ASU 37-31, but showed promising signs after a less than stellar 3-9 season last year. Not bad for a team who was voted out of the Sun Belt, leaving them with the shitty choice of moving down to FCS or setting out as an independent. Poor New Mexico State is the Oliver Twist of college football.

On the bright side, Jaleel Scott had a game. The redshirt senior hauled in 8 catches for 149 yards and two TDs using a combined total of three hands.

After the game, Scott was given his due credit.

“I’m a shy person, but when I saw my phone I was like ‘whoa,’ he said”

Bask in it baby.
