Two things are clear this week: I like divisional matchups and I’m West Coast bias. This might be a first where all of the games I chose to feature take place in the Pacific Time Zone. Check out the games to wager on in Week 7 in the NFL.
Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5) vs. Denver Broncos
Sunday 4:25 PM EST
The Chiefs had a couple of weeks to ponder over their first loss of the season to the Raiders as they’ll face another divisional opponent this week. This was supposed to be a breakout year for Denver, but season-ending injuries to Von Miller, Courtland Sutton, and with Drew Lock missing some games, that seems to be delayed till next year The Broncos are better than average at defending the run, but not as strong against the pass, which the Cheifs are kind of good at. Kansas City is ready to make a statement this week they are the team to beat in the NFL.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Chargers (Under 49.5)
Sunday 4:25 PM EST
Despite losing four straight games the Chargers have been an exciting team to watch thanks to the exciting play of Justin Herbert. That same excitement is what we thought we were going to get with Jacksonville after Week 1, but since then the offense has struggled so much that Gardner Minshew could lose his job and the defense is giving up the eighth-most points-per-game in the NFL. I like Herbert getting his first NFL win this week and I think Los Angeles will score a big majority of the points, but not enough to reach the total.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals (Over 55.5)
Sunday 8:20 PM EST
This game will feature two dynamic quarterbacks who both can get into the end zone but do it in different ways; Russell Wilson is leading the NFL with 19 passing touchdowns, while Kyler Murray leads all quarterbacks with six rushing touchdowns. What makes both of these offenses great is that they know score inside the 20; these are the top two in terms of red zone scoring percentage at over 80% efficiency. This has all the makings of a shootout.
Chicago Bears (+6) vs. Los Angeles Rams
Monday 8:15 PM EST
I don’t understand how you can ever discredit the legitimacy of a team that is playing well, but it seems the 5-1 Chicago Bears have been given that label. Week in and week out they’ve been able to win with an efficient offense and an impeccable defense. The Rams themselves sit high in the NFC standings thanks to an outstanding defense. These teams are evenly matched to where it will stay close.
