Colorado Avalanche vs. Arizona Coyotes

5:30 P.M. EST

The Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes will begin their best of seven series tonight. The Coyotes will look for their second consecutive series upset as an 11-seed, defeating the 6-seed Nashville Predators in the opening round qualifiers.

The big factor in the Nashville series was Yotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper and his 2.77 goals-against average and .933 save percentage. The Avalanche had a legitimate chance to be the No. 1 seed after a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues then a dominating 4-0 victory over the Dallas Stars, but it was a 4-3 overtime loss against the Las Vegas Golden Knights that dropped them down to the No. 1 seed.

Colorado brings the offensive power; the third-best scoring team in the league will be led by Hart Trophy finalist Nathan MacKinnon, who finished with the fifth-most points in the league (93). Can Kuemper bring that extortionary performance and carry it over to the next round?

Best Bet: Over 5.5 goals (+115)

Best Prop Bet: First team to score three goals: Colorado Avalanche (-115)

Vancouver Canucks vs. St. Louis Blues

10:30 P.M. EST

The defending Stanley Cup champion Blues and the points leader in the Western Conference are limping into this series, having lost all three of their qualifying games, dropping them to the No. 4 seed. The Canucks’ young group of players led by Calder Trophy finalist Quinn Hughes, who had a team-high six points (one goal, five assists), beat the Minnesota Wild in the qualifying round to earn the No. 5 seed. This will be a series of a veteran team that has been through the grind of the playoffs versus a young squad with the momentum that’s looking to make name for themselves.

This is a Blues team that last year was in last place on January 3rd and made a miraculous surge late in the season winning two consecutive elimination games against the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. This is a team that can answer the call when the chips are down.

Best Bet: St. Louis Blues (+185)

Best Prop Bet: Time of the first goal: 09:00- 60:00 (-121).
