There have been several shots taken at Penn State and their fans over the years in regard to the entire Sandusky issue. Game day signs, banners, websites, etc. Most have been vulgar shots that hit below the belt (unfortunate pun) but Pitt might have come up with a simple but effective way to piss off a majority of the Nittany Lion faithful. Just in time for their Sept 10th game too.
The shirt, created by Twitter account The Point 4112, alludes to a fact that most of the world assumed but Penn State and Joe Pa faithful refused to believe since the entire Sandusky tragedy came to light — Paterno knew way more than he admitted.
Naturally, PSU fans lost their shit and The Point 4112 issued a statement regarding the shirts because of the backlash.
Shirts or no shirts, that first game should still be a real fun affair.
