Rob Gronkowski Has Amazing Hands, Remedial Spanish

by 8 years ago

That didn't stop him from attempting to conduct an interview in Spanish with ESPN Deportes on Sunday after his team's win in the AFC championship game.

Predictably, he started off with the basics.

“Hola, me llamo Roberto,” he responded to the first question, before giving a more complete answer in English.

Then came a query about the opportunity the Patriots have to get another ring for team owner Robert Kraft, who lost his wife this offseason. It was clearly a challenging one.

“Repita, por favor,” a wide-eyed Gronkowski pleaded.

Finally, things veered right into his wheelhouse. The interviewer wondered if Gronkowski, who caused a stir earlier this season by tweeting a photo of himself and adult entertainment star Bibi Jones, would be celebrating the Super Bowl berth. Again, the answer was quite predictable.

“Si. Yo soy fiesta.”

There you have it. Rob Gronkowski is party. He said so himself.
