Rob Gronkowski Sells Boston Penthouse For A Profit A Week After Retiring From The NFL

by 1 year ago

Three weeks ago, we brought you the story of how Rob Gronkowski put his Boston penthouse up for sale. The market for real estate previously owned by New England Patriots players is so hot right now. In three weeks, Gronk has already sold his former home for nearly his original listing price.

Gronkowski announced his retirement from the NFL a week ago and based on the quick sale of his Boston apartment, it really looks like he’s hanging up his cleats for good. The 29-year-old New England Patriots tight end unloaded his 2,063-square-foot penthouse loft.

Gronkowski was asking for $2.375 million apartment in Boston’s Seaport District, but it was only sold for $2.3 million. It’s still a win for Gronk because he bought the penthouse for $1.9 million in 2016. The house was sold with Douglas Elliman agent George Sarkis, who is part of The Sports & Entertainment Division.

The corner penthouse loft offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, also has Bellawood maple floors, exposed brick walls and beamed ceilings. Of course there are multiple framed Rob Gronkowski jerseys throughout the condo.

There is a custom-built kitchen with a restaurant-grade stainless Viking stove with dual ovens, a third stainless Miele oven, and a Subzero fridge. The unit comes with two parking spots.

There is a gorgeous 350-square-foot private rooftop deck. And a Squatty Potty.

For those hoping that Gronk wasn’t really retiring, it appears that he is really done with football. Get ready for “Gronk the wrestler” and “Gronk the action movie star.”
