UCLA football just dropped their new “LA Steel” uniforms (made by adidas) for the 2014 season. I’ve always been a fan of UCLA’s uniforms, but I think these “LA Steels,” the first grey uniform in school history, might be the cream of their crop. Not only visually, either. The uniforms, made with adidas’ TECHFIT technology, are said to perform better because, according to a release by the school, the material “clings tightly to the body, making players more difficult to tackle.”
Welp, I’m sold. You can’t beat what you can’t tackle. That’s science. Better put my life savings on UCLA this year.
