England’s Message Of Support To Their Women’s Soccer Team Is Better Suited For A Porn Set Than A Soccer Pitch
According to Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight the national team of England only have a 4% chance of winning the Women’s World Cup, but that didn’t stop their fans back home from sending them a raunchy message that’s better suited for a porn set than a soccer field. The BBC has been sharing pictures and video of support, all with the same slogan: come on our girls.
They should’ve have omitted ‘our’ or changed it to ‘you’, or maybe changed ‘come on’ to ‘let’s go’, but they didn’t. Instead they’ve rallied an entire nation behind a slogan that’s straight out of the Reality Kings offices in Miami Beach. You can practically envision that slogan being painted across the archway when you walk into the famed Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Nevada, can’t you?
The message is clear, England wants everyone to come on their girls…right?

I’m not gonna lie to your bros, sometimes the joke’s so simple I don’t have much to add to it. England royally botched this one, and invited an entire nation to make porn-set jokes about their athletes who are in the knockout round of the Women’s World Cup. We should be applauding these ladies for making it so far into the tournament, not making jokes about their slogan. But the slogan is ripe for parody, so I’m not backing down from the easy joke.
