New Boat Shoe Brand Is Trying To Disrupt Sperry’s Dominance In The Boat Shoe Industry

Here at BroBible, we pride ourselves on knowing a thing or two about the best boat shoes for men. It’s a timeless look, worn by generations of Bros far and wide around during the warm weather months.

Since 1935, the Sperry Top-Sider boat shoe has been the brand synonymous with high quality boat shoes, with very few other options in the lifestyle footwear category. But now there’s a new player on the block that’s taking a shot at Sperry’s dominance. Introducing Two Degrees, a British footwear start-up promising serious comfort and a signature preppy look for it’s signature boat shoe line.

To quote the immortal wisdom of Omar, “You come at the king, you best not miss.” On Kickstarter, they’re promising a boat shoe with 7 layers of insole cushioning, along with super breathability. Could it possibly be a product that compares to Sperry’s signature, ultra premium Gold Cup options?

Two Degrees is also promising unique heel padding and material made from recycled soles, with a dedication of proceeds to help save 1,000 square feet of endangered habitat.

They’re definitely more expensive than Sperry’s, with pledge options starting at ~$166 on Kickstarter. Estimated delivery is this November.
