Dope Or Nope? Nike Just Dropped A New, Very Unique Air Max 270 Colorway Called ‘Camo Sunset’
On one hand I am really digging the look of the black flyknit upper and the black portion of the sole. It’s the “Camo Sunset” part of the sneaker that I can’t wrap my head around. It’s kind of cool, but I don’t know. With some of the other Air Max 270 colorways there’s no doubt. They are very sharp-looking shoes. But these?
Why Nike thought they needed a “camo panel set above a sunset tint-colored heel Air unit” is a bit of a head-scratcher. Are they running out of color combination ideas? Was someone at Nike HQ really sitting there and thought, “Eureka! I’ve got it! We put a camo design on the Air Max 270 heel piece then throw a sunset tint-color on the Air unit.”
Because I have to say, I would have never come up with a combination or colors and patterns like that in a hundred years.
I’ve looked at these shoes about 10 more times since I started writing this and I still don’t know if I like them or hate ’em. Thoughts?
