Watch Of The Day: A Complete Military Box Set
Kingsbury Watch Co’s first collection is the Military Supply 1, AKA the MS1 Military Watch Set. Launched on Kickstarter last month, the MS1 Watch Set has raised over $21,400 – shattering its goal of $17,834 with plenty of time to spare.
The heart of the MS1 Watch design draws inspiration from the inside the cockpits of military aircraft, clearly designed to imitate the cockpit’s iconic gauges and dials. The result is a beautiful timepiece, produced in black and white so you have versatility in the form of two watches for a surprisingly reasonable price.
The Military Supply 1 (MS1) Watch Collection, draws its inspiration from inside the cockpits of military aircraft. Climb into any gunship and you’ll see an array of gauges and dials with simplistic, yet bold designs. Kingsbury Watch Co. borrowed this look to create a set of beautiful, vintage looking timepieces.
While the final product is defined by its simplicity, featuring clean lines and no-frills dial, the creators of the MS1 took 8-months to perfect the design. Testing multiple designs, different movements, and several engineering components to ensure the MS1 is a high-quality timepiece with a price tag for the common man.
The MS1 Military Watch Set includes two timepieces, black and white, that feature a 42mm diameter case built with quality stainless steel. Inside, the MS1 features a Seiko (TMI) VD51 Japanese quartz movement for precise time plus two resettable sub-dials for minute and second time tracking.
In addition to the two timepieces, the MS1 Military Watch Set includes:
- High Quality 22mm NATO style watch straps
- A badass, rustic wooden military crate
- An embossed dog tag with a unique serial number
Right now on Kickstarter, you can order the MS1 Military Watch Set for as low as $200. Kingsbury Watch Co has added some awesome rewards for additional costs but they still save over $100 off the expected retail price.
