Sad news for residents of Arizona. Legendary action movie star Steven Seagal may have given up hope of ever running for governor of the state as he has put his 8,973 square foot mansion in Scottsdale up for sale.

The cryptocurrency expert purchased the property in 2010 for $3.5 million and has been trying to unload it since 2012, listing it multiple times, initially for $4.25 million. It’s current price of $3.395 million is the lowest price it has been listed at to date.

Seagal’s home is situated on 12 acres located almost 3,000 feet above sea level in the guarded and gated community of the Carefree Ranch Homesteads in Scottsdale.

It overlooks the Desert Mountain and the Phoenix metro area with floor-to-ceiling windows made of bulletproof glass.

According to the home’s listing on Realtor.com (where there are more photos), the exterior of the home consists of natural stone, copper and glass and boasts decks surrounnding the house, a infinity edge swimming pool, spa and three-car garage.

On the inside, there are natural stone pillars and hewn copper accents, four bedrooms, a theater, and several flex rooms.

There is also a guest house on the property that includes a full kitchen, living area, and bedroom suite.

Purchase of the property also comes with a membership to Desert Mountain Golf Club and its six Jack Nicklaus Signature designed courses, plus an all-new, par-54 championship course.
