Bill Maher Has An Epic Rant On Why Millennials Suck And Should Be Called ‘Generation Ass’ For Worshiping Booty

Bill Maher is pretty damn good at putting a topic on blast on his weekly HBO show, Real Time with Bill Maher. This week, the target in his crossheirs was agism, or specifically the idea of giving cultural entitlement to young people (a.k.a. millennials). It comes from the idea that successful Democratic California Governor Jerry Brown is “too old” to run for President in 2016 against Hilary Clinton, despite having a pretty solid track record of turning things around in the biggest state in the county.

But look, let’s sideline politics for a second. The best part of Maher’s rant is the new asshole he tears millennials for thinking, foolishly, that the world is theirs and theirs alone. The core of this rant is about the “cultural trend” of booty, from Instagram selfies to Nikki Minja to dat ass dat ass dat ass memes on Reddit.

It’s a weird analogy to make for wagging a finger at a generation and saying “you’re acting like tools,” but the meat and potatoes of the rant is something every millennial needs to hear.
