Google Employee Allegedly Told To ‘Get Out Of This Country, Apu!’ Now That Donald Trump Is President

Yesterday the electorate of the United States of America decided that Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States. Trump infamously ran on a controversial nationalistic anti-immigration ticket and today some minorities are already reporting feeling the backlash of that xenophobic agenda.

In short, people are using the results of the election to be dickheads to others in real life.

One such example comes from Manik Rathee on Twitter. Manik is a Silicon Valley-based designer and engineer for Nest, a popular thermostat device used by millions of people. He’s employed by Google, the owner of Nest. Considering his impressive resume in tech, he’s pretty damn talented! Unfortunately, at a gas station this morning in Northern California, he reportedly had the following interaction:

He’s not the only minority in the Bay Area with a similar report:

There are other reports of rabid racism following Trump’s election:

Sickening. As the Chinese curse goes, “May you live in interesting times…”
