I’ve never sent a celebrity fan mail, not on a whim, nor for an assignment from a teacher back in elementary school. I honestly wouldn’t even know where to begin when trying to mail a letter to some celebrity, and that’s Reason #1 why I’ll never get an awesome response back from Tom Hanks like this chick did.
Posted to Imgur on Tuesday night, this girl shared photos of the epic response she received from Tom Hanks after supposedly sending him fan mail on a whim. Unfortunately, we don’t have a copy of the letter Zena initially sent to Tom Hanks but it appears as if she asked him for a headshot (photograph). What she got back was 100x better:
Tom Hanks has always seemed like a genuinely good person and one who knows the value of being nice to his fans. This is definitely above and beyond the call of duty for a celebrity, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the man. He’s just a stand-up dude.
