Major League Baseball is reportedly investigating the alleged use of a homophobic slur by Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar during last night’s game Braves-Blue Jays game.
Watch as the benches clear in the top of the seventh inning after Pillar yells something at Braves pitcher Jason Motte.

Many on the Internet believe Pillar yelled “Fag” or “Faggot” at Motte.
So are we just going to pretend that @KPILLAR4 didn't initiate all this by yelling a gay slur? Better step up on this one, @MLB. pic.twitter.com/8bB3xijtCu

Pillar apologized for the outburst after the game and claims he was just being overly competitive.
It was uncalled for, immature, it’s part of the game. I’m a competitive guy, you know heat of the moment. Obviously I’m going to do whatever I gotta do to reach out and apologize.
If Pillar did indeed yell a homophobic slur at Motte he can be expected to be suspended for multiple games .
