Brek Shea gave the United States a 1-0 lead over Switzerland moments ago with a delightful free kick goal that rendered the Swiss goalkeeper completely useless.
I can’t prove it definitively but I’m fairly sure the ball whistled the tune of Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA as it sped through the air.
The goal was so stunning it literally fried the brains of those two dudes at the end of the Vine.
RIP to their cognitive skills.
