Steve Smith Sr. and Josh Norman, two players that Gettleman decided to let go from the team during his tenure, both took to Twitter to troll Gettleman after his firing.
"👀" 🤔

Apparently Gettelman was unpopular in the locker room for his decision to not keep Norman and Smith Sr.

There's always been tension btwn front office and locker room b/c of unpopular moves Gettleman made. I'm told it's only increased of late.

There had been rumblings that all was not well with Gettleman and owner Jerry Richardson stemming from allowing star CB Josh Norman to walk.
