If Jay Cutler wouldn’t have signed with the Miami Dolphins the team was considering bringing in Tim Tebow to replace Ryan Tannehill, according to a report from Miami Herald’s Armond Salguero. Tebow was reportedly on the short list of players the Fins were thinking about working out after Tannehill went down with an ACL injurt late last week.
Among QB names Dolphins considered before discarding for multiple reasons in favor of Cutler: Kaepernick, Tebow, Orton.

It’s not entirely surprising Tebow is on the list considering that Dolphins head coach Adam Gase had success with the former Florida QB while in Denver.
Adam Gase was QB coach in Denver year Tebow helped Broncos win AFC West as a starter.

Hopefully Gase reconsiders and brings Tim Tebow as an insurance policy just in case Cutler gets hurt.
