Many first recall Diane Lane playing Cherry Valance in The Outsiders when she was still a teen. Then again many of us first saw her in the miniseries Lonesome Dove. Whenever it was we first laid eyes on her, we were destined to never forget her. Maybe it was in Chaplin with Robert Downey, Jr. or Judge Dredd or any number of unforgettable roles she has played over the years. My personal fave? Unfaithful. (Though this scene from A Walk on the Moon – above – is pretty special too.)
Sadly, for big fans of Diane Lane she hasn’t been real busy of late only having appeared in just three films since 2008. Luckily, that will change this year as she plays Martha Kent in Man of Steel, set to be released in June. Click on and go back in time with us as we remember the glory days of one of our favorite actresses of all time.
