Earlier this year, it was reported that Netflix had acquired a documentary about the sexual assault and trafficking allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs that 50 Cent produced.

Following Sean Combs’ arrest in New York City earlier this month on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, 50 Cent has provided an update on the project, which is currently in production and is reportedly titled Diddy Do It?.

“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” 50 Cent and director Alexandria Stapleton said in a statement to Variety.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

Earlier this week, 50 Cent’s past comments about Diddy wanting to take him shopping went viral.

Diddy, who is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail, has pled guilty. Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in jail if convicted.

According to the federal indictment, Diddy — who was arrested by Homeland Security agents in a New York City hotel on Monday, September 16 — “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” for decades.

At this time, Diddy Do It? does not have an official release date.
