It is high time to show some appreciation for all of the things in life that rock. I’m not talking about physical rocks, or Rock Music, though both do rock, I’m referring to all of the things in life that nearly universally bring us joy.
There is so much negativity in the world and that can weigh heavily day after day. So we’re going to ignore all of that for a few minutes and pay tribute to all the things that rock.
The idea for this came about from a TikTok video I saw from users @evannoak. He put together a short video of “stuff that rules” and his list starts with throwing rocks into bodies of water. Great stuff all around. The comments were even better. I then started talking to friends about it and before I knew what was happening I had a full list, albeit an incomplete one, of things that rock and I wanted to share it with you all.

1. Getting dogs riled up after someone says ‘don’t get the dog riled up.’
2. Successfully getting a semi-truck driver to honk at you.
3. Older sister’s hot friends.
4. Hearing the crackle of a campfire while chilling in your backyard with friends.
5. Throwing huge rocks into water and watching the splash.
