Former kickboxer-turned-toxic masculinity influencer, Andrew Tate, who was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Chicago and later Indiana but somehow adopted a fake British accent at some point, was awoken on Wednesday as dozens of anti-organized crime officers in Romania raided his four homes in the Eastern European city of Bucharest.

The raids came as a new wave of dark new allegations have come to light, alleging he has a role in human trafficking, assault, and forming criminal gangs with the express purpose of female exploitation. FOX had a brief live view from the outside of one of the four homes in Bucharest owned by Andrew Tate as they were being raided by anti-organized crime officers:

There was a time in the not-too-distant past when Andrew Tate was a rising social media star with millions and millions of followers across the various platforms. That was before he was banned by most of them. Meta banned Tate from Facebook and Instagram, justifiably so given his brand of toxic masculinity but more so due to the crimes he’s alleged to have had a hand in.

Andrew Tate was also banned from Twitter but Elon Musk brought Tate back to X in 2022, where Tate has in recent days used viral racist words and has faced zero consequences for his use of targeted hate speech.

The Associated Press published a story on the latest raids on Andrew Tate’s properties this morning. Among the crimes he is being investigated for are “investigating allegations of human trafficking, the trafficking of minors, money laundering” and more.

DIICOT, the anti-organized crime unit in Romania which raided Andrew Tate’s four Bucharest homes, said in a statement that “during the entire criminal process, the investigated persons benefit from the procedural rights and guarantees provided by the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as the presumption of innocence.”

Andrew Tate Breaks His Silence On Police Raids At His Homes In Romania

Because Elon Musk unbanned Tate in 2022 and invited him back to X, Tate has since broken his silence on the police raids with messages shared on Elon’s platform. He shared these two posts:

Weirdly, Dan Bilzerian felt like now was a good time to come to the defense of Andrew and his brother. Bilzerian shared this message on X which was re-shared by Tate:

Coming to the defense of Andrew Tate after these very serious, very alarming allegations have been lobbied against them and sharing that while anti-organized crime were still raiding Tate’s four homes is definitely an interesting choice on Bilzerian’s part.

The Tate brothers were first arrested back in 2022 and were in jail for 3 months before being moved to house arrest. They most recently appeared in court in March after Britain issued arrest warrants for them related to crimes dating back to 2012-2015. More will be learned in the days ahead about this ongoing investigation.
