The newest trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third film in James Cameron’s massive Avatar franchise, has been released. Avatar: Fire and Ash is a direct sequel to 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water.

After a 13-year gap between Avatar and The Way of Water, Academy Award-winning director James Cameron has been able to turn around Fire & Ash after just three years, as he shot most of it alongside The Way of the Water.

For context, the 14th highest grossing movie franchise of all time is Transformers, with $5.4 billion from NINE movies.
