Three separate witnesses around Chatham-Kent, Ontario, reported spotting Bigfoot over three consecutive days over the past week. The story has gotten so big that at least one Canadian national news outlet has reported on the sightings.

Three Bigfoot sightings in Thamesville, Dresden, and Raglan over the past week triggered the Sasquatch stir in Ontario. The Bigfoot Mapping Project logged and is investigating all three sightings.

“These are people who have tracked thousands and thousands of reported sightings right across North America,” a reporter for CTV News said during Thursday’s broadcast. “Now, over the past week, the legend of the Bigfoot has made its way right across Chatham-Kent with some of these reported Sasquatch sightings.”

This is the second cluster of Bigfoot sightings that the Bigfoot Mapping Project has reported over the past month. A few weeks back, in what was referred to as an “unprecedented cluster of activity,” there were “five separate, high-credibility” accounts of Bigfoot sightings over a 96-hour period in Portage County, Ohio.

“Something is happening in southwestern Ontario,” the Bigfoot Mapping Project wrote on X after the first two sightings. “Two separate witnesses have come forward with Bigfoot sighting reports just days apart, both occurring within a small stretch of rural Ontario between Dresden and Thamesville. These towns sit less than 10 miles from each other, and the proximity and timing of these encounters are raising serious questions.”

The first Bigfoot sighting occurred in Dresden, Ontario

According to the Bigfoot Mapping Project, a commuter traveling to work saw a “large, black, bipedal figure” standing at the edge of a tree line next to a field. The creature faced the highway, and observers thought it to be about 7 feet tall.

“The witness reported no vocalizations, no footprints, and no wood knocks, but was emphatic that what they saw was real,” the report continued. “In a remarkable detail, the witness shared that the day before, while passing the same area, they had spoken aloud and asked to see the creature — and the sighting occurred very near that exact spot the following morning.”

Bigfoot sighting number two happened in Thamesville, Ontario

A second witness, who was strolling along the edge of a wooded area in Thamesville, reported an encounter the next day. The witness reported an abrupt, unsettling silence. Then, an animal described as male with broad shoulders and thick, dark, cinnamon-colored fur appeared. The witness estimated its height at close to 8 feet. Additionally, this witness reported hearing knocks on wood and seeing footprints nearby.

“This is exactly the kind of cluster activity that researchers pay close attention to,” the Bigfoot Mapping Project wrote. “Southwestern Ontario has a history of sighting reports, and this area along the Thames River corridor has long been considered a potential habitat zone.”

The third Bigfoot sighting took place in Raglan, Ontario

During the third Bigfoot sighting, the witness reported hearing wood knocks and his dog alerting to a 7-foot black-colored creature.

“The dog alerting before the witness saw anything is a detail that shows up again and again in credible reports,” the Bigfoot Mapping Project stated.
