Earlier this year, comedian and actor Bill Burr made headlines for comments he made in the wake of the arrest of Luigi Mangione for the alleged murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The gist of Burr’s comments were that he was glad Thompson’s death may make rich corporate CEOs like him sweat a little bit.

During a recent appearance on an NPR-hosted podcast, Bill Burr again took aim at the elite class, this time taking aim at Elon Musk, who has become an increasingly controversial due to his rhetoric and the Trump administration deeply entrenching him in the United States government despite being an unelected official.

Burr took particular issue with claims that Musk has been sending Nazi dog whistles through his tweets and his actions, such as doing an apparent Sieg Heil (Nazi salute) during major public appearances. Burr said he refused to believe that Musk didn’t know what he was doing.

“I refuse to believe that it was an accidental two times Sieg Heil. And he does it at a presidential inauguration!” Burr said on NPR’s Fresh Air podcast, adding that Musk ‘evidently is a Nazi’.

Burr’s rant then transitioned into his anger with how the Democratic party has handled Musk and his recent actions.

“This is why I hate liberals. It’s like liberals have no teeth whatsoever. They just go, ‘Oh my God, can you believe this? I’m getting out of the country!’ I’m just like, you’re gonna leave the country? Because of one guy with dyed hair plugs and a laminated face who makes a bad car and has an obsolete social media platform?” he added.

Burr is currently gearing up for his Broadway debut as he’ll be starring in a revival of Glengarry Glen Ross alongside Better Call Saul stars Bob Odenkirk and Michael McKean, and recent Oscar winner Kieran Kulkin, which began previews on Monday ahead of its opening night on March 31.

His newest standup special, Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years, will also premiere on Hulu on Friday, Hulu 14. You can check out the official trailer below.
