Blake Lively has recently been in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons, but Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce don’t seem to care. They stood by the 37-year-old actress by throwing her a banger on Saturday.
Controversy be damned!
Lively, the star of recent box office smash ‘It Ends With Us,’ has received a lot of backlash in recent weeks for her behavior while promoting the movie— and other movies in the past. Fans were especially displeased to see that she took an extremely lighthearted approach to a film that focuses on the topic of domestic violence, often plugged her own products during media appearances, and even involved her alcohol company in the marketing.
To make matters worse, according to the Daily Mail, Lively (and many others) butt heads with director Justin Baldoni after his “borderline abusive” behavior on set. They also had an on-set feud over creative differences.
Everything came to a head at the same time, which created a storm for Lively. She reportedly fears that all of the negative press could impact her career moving forward.
Blake is definitely saddened by the hate she is getting and is trying not to let it affect her but it is. She thought this was her moment to shine but is now looking at it like the end of her career. She’s fearing no one will want to work with her after this. She really wants to continue producing and directing and acting but she knows she needs to take a step back for a minute to reassess the future.

Even though a large portion of the public has turned on Blake Lively over the last few months, Swift, Kelce and their friends have not! They threw her a 37th birthday party at the international pop star’s $17 million mansion on Rhode Island on Saturday.
Ryan Reynolds, Lively’s husband, was there. As was Jason Kelce, Bradley Cooper, and Brittany and Patrick Mahomes. They all became very close during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl run last fall.
Taylor Swift brought Lively to last year’s Sunday Night Football showdown between the Chiefs and Jets. Travis Kelce has been around the silver screen couple at his girlfriend’s events in the last year.
It seems like they don’t have issues with Blake Lively!
