‘Don’t Tell People Our Secrets!’: Jacksonville Passenger Says They Always Fly Breeze Airways. There’s Just One Problem

Flying in the United States isn’t very fun right now.

While the government shutdown is likely nearing its end, that doesn’t mean that air travel will immediately get better. Experts say that flyers should still expect long waits at the airport, and many flights are currently in the process of being canceled.

However, at a time when most people’s airport experiences are negative, one TikTok user says she’s got mostly good things to say about a certain airline. That said, there’s a catch.

What’s So Great About Breeze Airways?

In a video with over 85,000 views, TikTok user Peyton Pittman (@thepeytonpittmanpost) says she started flying with Breeze Airways this year. Throughout many trips, she’s noticed something interesting about the timing of their flights.

“In my first experience, they page over the intercom like, ‘Hey, everybody’s checked in, ready to go. The captain’s ready to leave. If you all want to come to the gate, we can get out of here,’” Pittman recalls. “So we get to our destination, like, 45 minutes early.”

In the travel she’s done with the airline since, she says that her flights have consistently left early, averaging around a half hour before schedule.

The catch? She’s now so used to the airline being early that, when it’s not, she’s disappointed.

“This is the first time since I’ve been flying Breeze that I beat them at their own game,” she says, sitting in the airport. “Our plane is not here, but I am, so I’m here 35 minutes early, because that, to me, is on time for this airline.”

She further states that Breeze has exceptional customer service and prices, describing the airline as “beyond my standards every single time.”

Does Breeze Airways Always Leave Early?

For those who might not be familiar with the airline, Breeze Airways advertises itself as an airline that “provides nonstop service between underserved routes across the U.S. at affordable fares.” The airline has been in operation since 2021.

There’s not a lot of evidence to suggest that the airline consistently departs before its expected time. However, the airline boasts high on-time percentages (OTP). For example, in October 2025, Breeze Airways reported an OTP of 87.28%. For context, Delta Air Lines had an OTP of 83.91%, while United Airlines had an OTP of 80.91%.

Why Does Breeze Airways Have Such A High On-Time Percentage?

While any airline’s OTP is down to a variety of factors, Breeze Airways has several elements working in its favor.

First, the airline has a modern fleet of Airbus planes, meaning less time is spent on repairs.

Second, by focusing on underserved markets with direct service, there’s a lower chance of being delayed by airport crowding or the other issues that can emerge with operating at a larger airport. Direct service also means that singular delays do not have a cascading effect through the rest of their flights.

Although the company boasts high customer service ratings, some internet users complain about a perceived lack of support along with other issues.

Commenters Love The Airline

In the comments section, users agreed with Pittman’s enthusiasm, with some regarding the airline as a well-kept secret.

“I used them several times going to Orlando/hsv,” said a user. “Got to Orlando so fast he said we had a ‘shortcut.’”

“Flew breeze early this year and it was amazing,” recalled another. “we landed an hour early and left early.”

“Breeze is my favorite. Everyone is so chill, the planes are NICE, and it’s actually an enjoyable experience,” stated a third. “I hope they maintain their vibes as they grow.”
