America, 2024: Where the Republican presidential candidate is sharing a headline about beefing with the biggest pop star in the world and how it’s affecting the wife of the world’s best quarterback. If our reality truly is a simulation, it’s an awful one.
To make this as concise as possible, we’ll do this recap style. First, in late August, people on social media began Brittany Mahomes engaging with Donald Trump’s content on social media. Mahomes didn’t back down in the face of criticism, saying that she does not “give a f— what people have to say about me anymore.” Trump got wind of Brittany Mahomes’ support and addressed it on social media, thanking her for “strongly defending her.”
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, which has seen the stock of its parent company Trump Media & Technology Group Corp plummet in recent weeks.
“With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless ‘leaders,’ it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”
Fast forward to early September, and pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for President the night of the debate. This drew the ire of Trump, who first said on Fox News that she’d “pay a price in the marketplace” (Swift is worth over $1.3 billion), before taking to social media on Sunday to say, and we’re directly quoting here, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Now, according to reports, Trump’s attacks on Swift have left Mahomes ‘questioning’ her support of the 78-year-old former reality TV store, according to reports, as they’ve left her ‘shaken to the core’.
“She is questioning her support for Donald Trump after he lashed out at Taylor, saying he hates her,” an alleged inside source told the Daily Mail.
“This deeply bothered Brittany because Taylor is like a sister to her and she has done absolutely nothing wrong. She didn’t mention Trump in her post and is allowed to speak her mind.,, She does not believe in hate in any form and loves Taylor so much. This shook her to the core.”
The source also added that while this doesn’t mean she’ll be voting for Harris, it’s made her ‘question’ supporting him publicly. As for Patrick Mahomes’ political opinions, he keeps those far closer to the chest than his wife.
