Cardi B says that she “keeps getting harassed” by Joe Budden after the podcast host and former rapper criticized her for the lack of music that she’s been putting out.

“Joe Budden is obsessed [with] criticizing me up and down,” Cardi said. “S— is really getting me frustrated because it’s like, bro, leave me the f— alone…I don’t understand this about Joe Budden, right? First, you always talking about you got a source from Atlantic [Records] that be telling you about my album, and that’s a f——g lie. First things first, you said that if Atlantic don’t drop my album, they going to f—–g drop it for me.”

She continued, “They can’t do that…I do not send my music to nobody. There’s only two people that have possessions of my music, and that’s me and my engineer. Nobody that personally work with me. I have a manager… He don’t have none of my music.”

“I don’t understand why I keep getting harassed by this man. [Do] you want an interview or something” she said on Twitter spaces.

Those comments came after Budden said that Cardi risked becoming “a singles artist” because she hasn’t produced a second album.

Cardi’s debut album, Invasion of Privacy, came out in 2018 and was a massive success due to singles like “Bodak Yellow” and “Bartier Carti.”

But Cardi has not released an album since. Instead, singles like “WAP’ and “Up” have seen huge radio and streaming success.

“You’ll never get another Cardi album again,” Budden claimed on a recent podcast episode. “That’s what Cardi’s about to be now, a single artist.

“I’m sure Offset wants Cardi to put out an album. Hey, fellas out there, boyfriends, y’all know that feeling, right? When you want your b—- to get a job? You [are] in the house, and your b—- just won’t leave,” he continued.

Budden is no stranger to headlines. In fact, he often thrives on them.

He went viral earlier this year with a controversial take about IG model Draya Michelle and her child with NBA player Jalen Green.

So he’s not likely to stop stoking the fire. But we’re not sure Cardi is the person he wants to mess with.
