Dune: Part Two isn’t the only movie that Zendaya is starring in this year, as the world-famous actress is also set to star in Challengers, the latest film from Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino.
While movie fans have previously known the film would revolve around tennis, the trailer revealing that the movie focuses on a love triangle between Zendaya and characters played by Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist came as a welcome shock to many.

Naturally, given that Zendaya is one of the most famous women in the world (she has over 183M followers on Instagram), the internet lost its mind upon seeing how hot and heavy some scenes in the film appear to be.

Here’s the official synopsis for Challengers, via Warner Bros.
From visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, Challengers stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist), Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (Josh O’Connor) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win.
Given the general caliber of Luca Guadagnino’s films and the recent success of King Richard at the Academy Awards, it’s not outside the realm of possibility to expect this role to put Zendaya in contention for a Best Actress nomination.
As mentioned above, Zendaya will also be starring in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, a follow-up to 2021’s Dune: Part One that’s set to hit theaters on November 9. Alongside Zendaya, Dune: Part Two also stars
