An Arizona woman pulled up to the drive-thru window at Chick-fil-A, and a worker handed over her order. Then, they handed her another small bag. She couldn’t believe her luck when she peeked at what was inside.
In a video with over 382,000 views, TikToker Stephanie (@stephaniec__) says “the craziest thing just happened,” first showing her original order. Then, she holds up a small bag with a yellow envelope sticking out from the top.
“Someone just came to the window and said ‘Congrats!'” she says. “We were winners picked at random.”
She holds up the yellow envelope, which reads, “Chick-fil-A Golden Ticket.” Fine print explains that Stephanie won free Chick-fil-A for an entire year.
“We’re literally shocked. We had no idea,” she continues.
Is Chick-fil-A Giving Away Free Food For A Year?
2026 is Chick-fil-A’s 80th year in business, so the fast-food chain is thanking customers with several rounds of sweepstakes. However, the free Chick-fil-A might not be unlimited.
According to Chick-fil-A’s website, winners of the 2026 “Golden Fan Cup” promotion have to log into their Chick-fil-A account and type in a special code. The code will then pre-load 52 coupons for a single entree. That’s equivalent to about one Chick-fil-A entree every week.
Select Chick-fil-A locations may also run their own promotions, giving customers “golden tickets” for a certain number of free meals that can only be redeemed at one store.
In an email to BroBible, a Chick-fil-A spokesperson explained that the promotion Stephanie won is different from the Golden Cup.
“Because restaurants are locally owned and operated, they sometimes offer promotions and events specific to their locations,” they wrote. “In this instance, Chick-fil-A Yuma offered a ‘luck in the drive-thru’ promotion specific to its restaurant.”
In a comment, Stephanie explained how the golden ticket works at the location she went to. She wrote, “They give you gift cards you can pick what type of sandwich you want and you can redeem online or in person.”
How Did Viewers React?
In the comments, many viewers expressed their jealously at Stephanie’s drive-thru luck.
“Dang last time I was craving Chick-fil-A. They made me pay and they forgot my sauce,” one shared.
Another said, “I hate being this jealous so early in the day.”
“Girl I think they meant to give it to me….. LMAO JK congrats though !!!” a third wrote.
Others suggest ways for her to make the most out of the free Chick-fil-A.
“This is amazing hopefully u can order extra free food and give a bag to homeless if u see any too. sharing the blessing,” a commenter wrote.
A second suggested, “Just know if it’s the same item that you can get each time and you get sick of it that there is still homeless people that you could hand the food too.”
“Just give it to me,” another joked.
@stephaniec__ Thank you so much @Chick-fil-A ❤️😭
