‘Bourbon With Orange Juice Is Crazy’: Delta Passenger Orders Bourbon From Georgia Flight Attendant. Then He Complains That It’s Liquor

A Georgia-based flight attendant shares her experience with an agitated passenger who couldn’t make up his mind when she was passing out food and beverages. The final straw was when he asked why she gave him liquor when he ordered bourbon.

In a video with over 6 million views, TikToker Savannah (@savannah0191) says the passenger immediately confronted her during boarding for not wearing a pink dress during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Some airlines, such as Spirit and Delta, offer pink versions of the flight attendant uniform for purchase to raise money for breast cancer research.

She says she told the passenger that she chose not to buy the pink uniform and instead donated to breast cancer research. She says he then walked down the aisle to his seat.

However, he continued his bizarre tirade during beverage service, she continues.

What Did He Complain About To The Flight Attendant During Beverage Service?

As Savannah came down the plane’s aisle with her food and beverage cart, she says the man noticed her standard uniform once again.

“He says, ‘Ugh, you’re not wearing pink either!'” she says. “I’m literally the same human you talked to earlier.”

She says she asked him what he would like to drink, and he ordered a coffee and a bourbon and juice. She says she handed him his coffee and offered him cream and sugar, hoping he would forget about his bourbon request.

He once again insisted that he wanted bourbon and orange juice, she says. So, she says she placed a small shooter of Woodford Bourbon on his tray table with a cup of orange juice. Savannah then asked if he wanted a snack, which he declined, she says.

Thinking the saga is over, Savannah says she turned across the aisle to serve another passenger. However, the man quickly caught her attention again.

“I see his hand reaching for something on my cart,” she says.

“‘Excuse me, please do not touch my food and beverage. Can I help you with something?'” she recalls asking.

Per Savannah, the man gestured to the bourbon and said, “‘What is this? What is this liquor?'”

She says she explained that it’s the bourbon he ordered, to which he responded, “I don’t want bourbon!”

Confused, Savannah says she asked if he meant “bourbon cream” for his coffee and offered him some. Then, she says, he demanded, “‘Where are my cookies?” despite refusing her offer of a snack earlier.

Bad behavior from airline passengers may be on the rise. According to a 2021 survey by the Association of Flight Attendants, over 85% of respondents say they dealt with an “unruly” passenger. Around 58% of those respondents say they’ve witnessed five or more incidents.

With the man finally settled, Savannah says she turned to the woman across the aisle to offer her a beverage.

The woman, who saw the frustrating interaction, jokingly offered to buy Savannah a shot of bourbon.

What Did Viewers Think Of The Bizarre Bourbon Fiasco?

In the comments, viewers praised Savannah for her patience during the man’s bourbon confusion.

“This is exactly why I bring treats to flight attendants when I fly. y’all are literally captive in a tube with these people,” one said.

“I know im not meant for customer service because I would have been snarky,” another wrote.

“I think flight attendants should have the option to airdrop a passenger on each flight,” a third joked.

Others praised the woman who offered Savannah a shot of bourbon after witnessing the interaction.

“Shout out to the woman who understood the assignment and offered to buy you that bourbon!” a commenter wrote.

“Aww the lady passenger was sympathising with you!” another remarked.
